A Maize Circle at the Heart of the Garden

This week, something beautiful has taken shape in the garden: a striking circular bed, lovingly planted with Mexican corn.

Francis and Jen shared their thinking behind it: “We made a beautiful big circle bed as we wanted a natural form. We’ve added a wood chip path so we can sit in the centre of our maize plants when they are full height.”

It’s already a lovely feature, but we’re imagining how magical it will feel later in the summer—surrounded by tall rustling stalks, sitting in the middle of this living circle. A quiet space, grown from care and intention.

We’ll keep you posted as it grows.
